Important Reminders
Your child needs to bring an earthquake emergency bag to keep in the classroom in the event of an earthquake or other situation that may require your child to remain at school for a prolonged length of time. The bag should include a change of clothes, including socks, non-perishable food items i.e., canned goods, granola bars, etc., and a toothbrush/toothpaste. At the end of the school year, everything will be sent home with your child.
Please ensure that your child brings a pack of spare hearing aid batteries to keep at school or in their backpacks. Batteries die at any moment and your child is often left without maximum amplification because they have no batteries for replacement. We do try to maintain a supply of batteries in the classroom, however our supply is often limited. Please remember your child's hearing is critical for attending and learning in class and communicating and socializing throughout the day.
